Warantless cellphone tracking does not violate the law
Despite the summer going on the American Court of Appeals for Fifth Circuit issued awaited decision regarding whether court orders authorized by the Stored Communications Act to compel cell phone service providers to produce the historical cell site information of their subscribers are per se unconstitutional. The court held that they are not.
The decision is available here and is definitely worth reading.
